for sure.
i am kinda sketch on them though, because i also wants a stiffer ski, and my 05 PE's are too small (i am 6'1 170ish and they are 169s)
so i guess i really dont know... i might spring for the Fuji's.
but, its really close.

fuck it dude.
if you ski any park why not have a park specific ski?
i think that if you have invaders you should have another ski thats going to work better for all mountain stuff though...
but wtf is wrong with owning a park specific ski?

dont listen to these people, buy a jib ski. there is nothing like riding a butter down a mogul line or ollieing over shit. then when you get to the park, feel free to press tricks out instead of barely holding on. if your gonna buy a stiff ski, i heard alpine racing skis are good...
if things go my way ill be on some invaders, elsewise im gonna rock the new k2 silencer. i want skis that come out of the factory as flexible as snowboards. some people dont like soft skis because they're harder to ride, but the only time i take my armadas out is for jumps over 40 feet. then you need somethings worthy of landing on.

But I'll be on anthems this year. I had invaders last year and loved them. They were sick all over the place... not just in park.

plenty of ignorance going on in this thread. steve, i've ridden most everything else out there, and for where and how i ski, invaders suit me very well. and whoever said a soft, centermounted, true twin cant ski well all mountain, well, maybe you should learn how to ski. for those of us on the east coast, it works perfectly fine. the only place they dont really fare that well is in the bumps due to the long tail.

ya amn i skied my center mount invaders last year on a couple big pow days at snowbird and i loved them in the pow as well as in the park.

they may have skied "ok" but they arent anything to write home about. ive skied them too and frankly, I think on anything but park, the invaders skied like crap. if i just leaned ide to side to turn, they were meh, but as soon as i put any power into them, they just flopped around. they arent some revlutionary design as line toted it. its just a floppy ski...one that would be cnsidered a beginners ski 5 years ago.
anyone that says the invader skis well outside of the park should learn what skiing really is, and stop wishwashing your skis around and calling it "aggresive" skiing. even a 100 pounder that skis agessivly, will find the invaders to soft for any hard snow.

and if you want to say im just hating on them because I dont ski only park, go ahead. but working at a shop, i am able to purchase as many skis as i want, and im saying that i would rather have a core center fuji for park plus all mountain than a core center invader. shit...the only time i would take the invader would be if i was doing all rails.

because skis were ot designed to be mounted ahead of the waist of the ski...theorhticly (spelling) you have to sit backseat to get the skis to carve efficiently...
...once you actually know things about the science behind ski design, you look at the invader amd relize its not some revolutionary design...its a poor design, that just happened to be easy to perform acrobatics at while they were stapped to your feet.

i perfer the anthems myself...i like a wider ski, plus this kid i know, whose a reliable source, rode the anthems and said there the sickest ski hes ever ridden. however for those who dont perfer wider skis the invader is proly the sickest park ski out there

but they are great for butters, once you get it going it will stay there, better than fuji's for butters id say, its just easier to hold with silencers, and silencers arent that stiff, id say like ar5 stiff, but a little softer in the tails, definatly not like karma's or pe's.

core center and true center need to die. quite possibly the most confusing terms in skiing right now. do you consider core center the thickest part of the core vertically? cant we just say center, and mean, halfway between the tip and the tail of the ski? and guess what buddy, using whatever definitions you come up with for core center and true center, they are on in the same on the invaders, because it is a completely symmetrical ski.

i guess im getting 07 invaders since im getting warranty on my 06 pair, but im still pretty skeptical, too see if they hold up or not, im probably also gunna order some seth's thru my shop

wow dude.
you are fucking dumb.
core center is determined by the manufacturer. as I have come to understand it, the core of the ski doesnt extend the full length of the ski, or at least, its not symmetrical (unless its the invaders?) so core center is different for each ski but it should be marked, or at least my PE's were.
true center is what you said: the exact middle of the ski. but when you mount a ski that is not symmetrical true center, it will NOT perform like it is supposed to. skis are ENGINEERED products, that is, they have optimal performances when everything is set up on the ski like it was designed to be.
the invader is the FIRST SKI to be symmetrical and to be designed to be mounted true center.
that seems pretty revolutionary to me, no?

the silencer is getting released this season, so how would you have skied it to tell me that they are stiff. i read that they are loose as fuck and skinny as hell. and dont worry about me bro, i dont buy skis, but unlike your situation, my mommy doesnt either...
so for future posts, take the dick out of your mouth before you advise a fellow skier on your knowledge so you dont sound like such a faggot.

I agree with you on everything except, line had a ski out 5 years or so ago that was symmetrical and I also believe it was disigned to be center mounted. That is what ski they got the idea for the invader from... it was on the video for the invader last year.

ps. I used the invaders last year for park and mainly rails, and they wernt bad... i liked them, but i also owned other skis to ride other places.

i was thinking about getting the invaders last season and i am SOOO glad i didnt. im not to keen on really floppy skis...yeh they are fun to butter and stuff but you cant actually ski on them. and when you are doing any big gaps to rails or disasters or anything i dont want to look down and see my skis flopping around like a flounder. i think for a super light weight, park rat...they would be alot better but looking at its impact as a majority to the public is doesnt relate to much...now i see why they would be hard to sell.

same exact thing here, but if this doesnt work, i plan on getting some used scratches, because i love them.
