Replying to BC booters into... firm snow?

so the only movies i've seen so far this year are corduroy and photoplay.  both were pretty sick, especially corduroy.  but i have to ask, what's the deal with building huge bc booters into 4 inches of baked snow?  i mean cool, i guess.  it seems like it would make it a lot easier to claim switch pow landings when it's not really into pow.  if you're going to do that though, why waste the time building a huge jump?  why not just film in the park?

don't get me wrong, i really enjoyed both movies, and they each had a lot of real pow jumps in them too, which was cool.  i just think it was more fun to watch marc andre or EP throw 9s into a foot of fresh instead of 4 inches of baked.
