Replying to Athletes Foot

I wake up this morning and go take a shit. I look down at my foot and there is this white, dry, dead looking skin between my smallest two toes and it was a bit red. I was like WTF?! So I check out WebMD and sure enough, it's athletes foot. God damn it. So I bought some Lamisil AT and I'm hoping this shit will go away within a week. Anyone else ever get this? Can it spread? Thank god it's not the kind that infects the whole bottom of the foot.
