Beginner Park ski, for someone who still rides the rest of the MTN?

I need new skis this year, and i want to get into freestyle skiing, maybe even park and pipe. But the problem is i still want to nride the rest of the mountain. SO whats a good ski that balances both types of skiing.
I was thinking of LINE, because they seem to be well priced. but i dont know.

line is less expensive for a reason, they are a sick company but the truth is they hve had quality issues so give them a year or 2.
we need to hear attle more information on your height/weight/ability beore we can recommend anything but based on waht youve give im going to say something along the lines of the salomon foil or perhaps some k2 public enemies

public enemies are really nice beginner skis and are very durable. i have a set for sale if you want. we need size weight height etc.

For good all mountain twins that wont break the bank look at the K2 Public Enemy and the Rossignol Scratch BC Sprayers. Both are very solid skis and are resonably priced. But we really need more info what level of a skier are you otherwise, hight, weight, where you will be skiing.

you are ignorant, line has been making skis for a decade now, they know what they're doing. first of all im going to say that i see more old line skis on the mountain than k2s or sollys. second you can't even jump on the line hating bandwagon correctly, they had problems with the Invaders last year, this was because there was a defect (which has been fixed for this years skis) in the process of making them that led to easy delamination. the reason they are cheaper is because they have moved their manufacturing into the same plant as K2 in China. you will hear very few complaints about any of there other skis.
if you want to buy line, i'd suggests chronics (east coast) or chronic blends (west coast). other good skis that might interest you are Karma's, Public Enemies, ARVs, Foils, and MSPs. all are different, so you might want to tell us where you ski, and whether you prefer stiffer or softer skis, along with your height and weight.

Salomon Teneighty foils are a great park/all mountain ski. If you are a beginner, just get them a touch shorter and they'll be easier to ski.

i have a pair of the original scratch ecos in 180 mounted with look p10s. Everything about the ski is mint cept for some topsheet and tip/tail scratches. Theyre mounted at -3 from center as well so you get the park ability as well as all mtn.

Im about 5 foot 10 and a half... 140-150 pounds. And i would say im an average skiier. I speed down Blues, and most blacks. And im somewhat cautios on Double Blacks.

a lot of people have lines cusa there cheap as hell. the anthems are like $379 on get boards cus theyre made out of cheaper material.
try out the salomon foils or thrusters, they are super lite and a little bit softer. now if u used to be a race or like stiffer skis try the volkl karma or eve the public enemy

I honestly couldnt tell you if i like soft or hard skis. I do know i hate skiing on ice and even crust (common in the east.. I dont need powder... but perferably not crust.
Are Armada's too expert for a beginner like me?

don't get salomons... even though you may be an average skier doesn't mean you want an average ski.
Look into a k2 silencer, k2 fujative, line chronic, armada ar6 or T-hall, scott p3, or ninthward firstblood or butterlicious.
Since you're in the NE I doubt you want a fatter ski. So those are all some great choices that kill it in park.. and the rest of the mtn too.

Brand new Head Mojo 90 176 unmounted. These are fairly stiff, turny twins. They would be great for the all-mtn. east coaster.

Another question..
Being a skiier for the last 16 years of my life, i have grown up with Brands such as K2, Rossingol, Dynastar and others. Now i am seeing these other companies like LINE, Ninthward and 4 Front. Do these new companies stack up against the ones that have been around for decades? With the lack of experience do they still compete? Maybe im just out of date and these companies have been around, but they seem new to me.

^ yeah they are relatively new.. and a lot of them are rider owned/inspired. They acutally care about putting out a quality ski that will handle abuse.. and if it doesn't they'll warranty it. (Line, 4frnt, Armada, Ninthward) But companies like dynastar and salomon in the past have been known to put out a crappy product and not change with the times.. and not warranty, b/c they want kids just to buy a new pair. I think they may be getting better. But me personally.. am sticking with the more core companies.. K2 and Scott being an exception. B/c they rock too.

for anyone who is still trying to help me figure which ski i need, i see people put percentages on what area they ski...
I ski 0% park(LOL) and about 100% rest of the mountain.. usually Blues and Blacks.. the occasional Green in there just to relax.
I would say i am an intermediate skier.

check out the salomon foil. it's an awesome all mountain ski that is still amazing in the park. also, if you want something a little more burly, check out the 4frnt msp.

What do you mean by burly? I keep hearing some skis are stiff and some are soft.. what determines which one you should get?
