So one of my friends seems convinced that he can do a double backflip. He just learned backflips last season, and is set on doing one this year. I think he will die. The momentum and skill it takes(which he really wont have either) is alot. It seems to me like our jumps, in ohio i might add, are only about 20ft or so, and you need ALOT of air to get anywhere close. He keeps telling me that its only a mental thing, and that it is a one-motion type flip that he can do....i dont know want him to die, any help? At least it would be a good video...
horrible idea... i've seen someone go for a double back and try to rotate it so hard they hit their head on the lip.
Also yeah a double back has so much rotation to it, ESPECIALLY going off a 20 foot jump....better set that shit perfectly if you don't wanna get knocked out, break your back, neck, or something
You can doa double ona 20 foot jump. Just throw it a *little harder and make sure you are still popping, and throw it for a layed out flip then just pull your knees in and make sure to ignore the ground first time around. He will probably land on his belly.
ya , def takes some pop, not necassarily throwing super hard of the ramp. I ve never done a double but I can do singles pretty easy, and Ive waaayyyy over rotated a backflip to my back. I want to try a double this year, but im def going to throw it into powder.
if his heart is intent on trying one then try to get him somewhere where you could build a jump into some pow in the back country.. on a double back it would be better for him to over rotate to his back then faceplant.. make sure he's not shy and DONT do a double pump thing (like come out of the tuck a little bit and then go back in) make sure its all one tuck and that he comes out at the right time. all 1 motion
