SKIING IS FOR PUSSYS BLAH personally i think when they think of skiing, they think of old guys a woman just skiing in tights or something but personally at my home mountain.. the skiiers are more steezy than the boarders and can throw down better stuff in the park, boarders don't even realize what there saying until 20 years down the road they realize that snowboarding is the most boring shit ever.. i understand if your really really good at it and its your thing, i respect that but please snowboarders sit down and just watch long story short or some dope movie with us and you'll be fuckin amazed with what you can do with 1 thing on each foot..so yeah stop giving us shit, especially if u suck at snowboarding..that pisses me off the most

hhaha.. theres not much respect at bristol in NY but when i went to whistler in mid april.. we got like 2 feet and we were in the trees and these snowboarders were ripping it was sick and they come out there like.. dude gnarly bro' sickest run EVERRR and yeahh i pretty much gave them all of my respect.. and there was some snowboarder that went off this cornice and when he went off it he was seriously a foot away from us and just does a 7 off of it it was so nice

honestly, i find that the REAL snowbaorders. the ones who are good, and aren't just in it to "be cool" are really acceptive of skiers...aslong as you dont snake lines and sit on jumps..(who does that anyways?)..the ones who hate, suck, they think thats how it is from like video games and those disney movies where the snowbaorders are always cooler and the skiers are all racers. they think to "be cool" they have to bash skiers...

i just get used to it...all the snowboarders around me are either 1.to gay anyways and i wouldnt want to talk to them even if the did ski...no matter how sick they are...or 2.make fun of skiing and hate on freeskiing big time...then borrow their friends twin tip skis and ask me about what skis are good for them because they are thinking about buying them(these are the boarders i actually hang out with)

i live in vancouver, i ski at grouse, and all the snowboarders i know flame skiing whenever i talk about it, its fucking anoying. my friend wont even watch skiing movies without bitching about it

look at what 90% of skier look/act like. obnoxious juelz santana wanna be thugs who are super obnoxious, ski in groups of 130, with rasta stripes all over everything they own. oh, and basketball jerseys. granted, a good bit of snowboarders do it too, but its not nearly as big a percentage. i personally ski with all snowboarders for exactly that reason. i cant take kids acting like that. its not the clothing thing that bothers me. its acting a certain way to merit wearing this clothing. snowboarding has a lot more parallels with skateboarding, which is the most fun in the world just because of the vibe you get doing it. theres a reason why people get flamed, and im sorry if youre not one of those who i spoke of and get hated on by association. that part isnt fair. but you cant thank the 14 year olds who smoke weed at the top of the park and scream jea 300 times a minute.

uh-huh, but last season at the x games i saw skiiers go 5-10feet higer in the half-pipe. and as for the womans snowboardin, id ont even want o get started. it seemed like they couldnt get mor than 5-7 feet out of the pipe, let alone do any impressive tricks.

Good snowboarders normaly show respect to skier, shit Danny Kass even sponsors Tanner Hall through his company thats meant to be one of the most core companies out there. The respect is there most of the time but on occaion its not soo next time you get a snowboarder talking shit on you you and do one of these 3 things.
1) tell him hes a fag and walk up to him and beat him over the head with the ski pole or break his nose.
2) and proably the better thing say nothing jump in front of him in the line for th ebooter or rail do 180 to fakie give him the finger and pop a perfect cab 7 and when he comes down after you to talk shit for cutting in on him break his nose infront of all his poser snowboarder friends, he then will never talk shit on skiing again.
3) forget about him hes a kook you rip and in the end he will get his dues and proably get hit by a bus. At least if this happens you onlly get good karma coming your way.
