Head mojo heatfit boots

so i am thinking about getting new boots this year.  i am obviously going to go to a bootfitter to make sure i get something that will fit well.  my 1080's are probably a half size or a size too big, other than that i love them.  they are very comfortable and i have no real complaints with them other than them being a little on the soft side.  i have been looking into the head mojo heatfit boots and they seem like they would be a good choice, adjustable flex, great buckles, good padding in the heals, and overall they just look like they are made very well.  if i mainly mostly all mountain with about 30-40% powder do these boots seem like they would be a good choice.  i dont know if anyone has any experience with these or other boots that i might want to look into.

thanks everyone in advance for the help, and as i say i will go to a bootfitter and if these wont work i will obviously look into something else but these seem to be the best choice as of right now.

if you like the feel of your salomons id stick to those. i had xwave 8s then switched to langes which sucked ass (for my feet) now im back to salomons but the xwave 9s. i recommend those there stiffer than the 1080s/xwave 8s (same shell) for my feet salomons fit the best, i tried the heads on and they felt like shit. so if you like your boots now just want soemthing stiffer get the xwave 9s or some salomon boot.

shouldnt matter really seriously check out the xwave 9 or 10 stiffer than 1080 but still soft enough for park

right on, i think i might, i am going back home in a few weeks so i should be able to try some on then.  so thanks a lot for the comments.  and yeah, i think you might be right, if i liked the fit of my salomons i might want to keep them.  the only thing im wondering about tho is if i get the size that would acutally fit if they might be uncomfortable then, so i dont know, i will find out in a few weeks i guess.

wut size shoe to you wear? and wut size boots are your 1080s? it could just be that your 1080s are packed out a shit load. custom fitted boots wont pack out as much that is if they use a whole new liner.

hey man, I owned some 1080 boots and thought they were okay. However, I now own the Head Mojos and think the 1080s are pieces of... well, cheap plastic ;) I think the Mojo is a far superior boot, especially the heel region. Try them on, if they fit I think you will be very happy

right on, thanks for all the responses everyone.  and yeah, my salomons are far too big i wear a size ten in nike running shoes, and like an 11 in vans but i like those really loose.  i have 27.5 salomons and my friends wear bigger shoes and have 27.5s.  anything else i should look into when i go to try on boots?
