if i have a pair of skis that were only mounted once can i mount them again in the same spot...i broke a binding so i got new ones at the end of the season and i want to mount at true center again (original binding was look p12, new rossi power 120s i think, idk if that helps but maybe someone knows something about the hole patterns or something). thanks
asme skis with holes and no the binding didnt rip out i just really busted up the heal piece and a little of the toe too...and are you remounting with different bindings or just the same ones in the same holes^
There are a couple of situations when you're in luck.
1. As long as the binding is going into the same hole pattern your fine.
2. Their is at least 1cm away from the original holes. Make sure you put stoppers and glue in the old holes. Keeps strength in the core and keeps liquid out
they are different brand bindings tho so im pretty positive they dont have the same hole pattern exactly...so are you saying that if i took out the broken ones and filled all the wholes i could just remount new ones regardless of where they are mounted (on or off the old holes)
I forget whats its called but you can remount and hold them in stroger with a rivit piece...hmmm not sure if its called that or not i forget, but its this little plastic piece that jams in the old hole. And make sure if your doing it or someone else is doing it use tons of glue so that water won't get in there, otherwise your core will rot!(and it will snap and lose flex)
Use the gorilla steeze glue, its the best...Yes its really called this, and yes it really does work good
