Replying to Soft Boots for all Around Skiing.

I am going to be getting a new pair of boots real soon for next year, and almost for sure a pair of Nordicas. I was thinkin about possibly getting the soft boots that they make. Has anyone on here had experience skiing outside of the park and stuf with soft boots at all, how do they work. Im going to be riding Mt. Baker next year and I want to be able to do everything. My preference is always been for a softer boot, even when im racing.
