I want fresh smelling laundry!

My laundry constantly has a musty, dumbass smell to it and I can't figure out why. It must have something to do with our washing machine or detergent, because it has not always smelled like this. What do you guys use to have your clothes smelling fresh and wonderful?

put some of those fabric softner sheets in the dryer when u put it in the dryer

How old is the machine

Do you have high mineral content in your water?

What soap?

the machine is fairly new, i didn't have this problem with our other machine. i have no idea about the mineral content. and the soap is...almighty, i think.

sulphur in the water and iron can make shit smell funny. Check the drains too and make sure nothing is clogged and no letting the machine drain properly.



Maybe try putting a BIT more soap it, not a lot though cause it can foam over

ok i conducted a test, and discovered that the reason my clothes smell like shit is the detergent. so now my clothes smell like nothing. now i need suggestions for detergents and/or dryer sheets that will give my clothes a fresh clean scent!

the best detergent is the laveder vanilla stuff and they have fabric softener in that smell. it smells great. Make sure you take your clothes out of the washer and into the dryer right away otherwise they smell like mildew

my clothes always smell so nice after a good wash and dry...use those bounce softener sheets in the dryer

Use snuggle dryer sheets, i use those is school, and at home my mom uses the snuggle fabric softner, all my lady friends compliment on how nice I smell

i work at a dry cleaners and whenever clothes come back smelling a little bit ussually from people sweating then we use freebreaze and it works pretty good.
