Fks vs s916

of those of you who refuse to put anything on your skis but race stock bindings like myself, which have you found best on park skis? just seeing what other peoples opinions are. ive always been a big fan of the fks heel, have been since my first pair of zrs. but people with experience skiing park with 916s, let me know your thoughts. i had a pair that i tossed on some urban skis that i took off my old race skis, but beyond that, not too much experience with it.

I would say the FKS is a better park-specific binding.

^ i actually did the exact opposite last season...pulled the 916s on my 1080s out on a rail situation. im partial to look/rossi fks style based just upon that. although i did rip a 150 out of my publics a couple seasons back.

i put fks 185's on my ar5's i think it was worth it because its not much heavier and way more durable, but i find that its floppy out back and idk what from.. i just got them and i'm waiting to see if they come out with a wide break anytime soon because if they don't i'm getting 916's next season and a big ninthward (190)

any ideas?

i dont think your going to be getting any ninthwards next season, fyi, also they do have p10s with wide brakes,

yeah i think the fks/p18s are a better park binding, but i would i use neither, if im riding any fks, its the 120s, the no vertical release in the toe scares the shit outa me in the park, idk why, i just picture me fucking up and my tib/fib just breaking, i have the 155s on my ants though and love them, so yeah..

ok so i'm skiing my fks today and they just broke

if you look at it its only 2 little metal bars holding a giant toe piece. pretty redic now that i think about it, but fuck warranty is covering. but still.

and there is no upwward release in the toe of either fks or s916. so you shouldnt' be scared whoever said that.

but next year i'm putting the s916 on whatever i get. racers throw em out every year. cheap deals on ebay

I broke a pair of FKS 185s.. i got 916s mounted on my Bacons so we'll see how those hold up

Word. Not as common on the 916's (5 hole pattern for the win) but the FKS's have a very narry hole pattern for the heel.
