I rode the Msp in AK, but there wasn't a whole lot of fresh pow for me to really test out the width. As far as 100 for a waist on the East, you are probably right, but I do want it to preform out in AK or in the West.

i think the MSP would be perfect, especially since you've ridden in and already like it.  the width is manageable everywhere from east to west, they're definitely a solid-flexing ski and with little sidecut they like to go fast and charge, just like you.  my friend is your weight and he rode them last year and loved them as an everything ski, from pow to crud to park and everywhere in between.

Fuck whoever says you shouldnt get 100 waist ski. Im in PA, and have never been west, and am not going west for 2 years. But im still getting a pair of 188 j vs j's in March.

budget wise, i am looking for just one ski for that one ski quiver. if i had the cash i probably would get two.
salomon isn't up there because i never have really heard anything good about them and i've never been on their skis. I'd be willing to try them out. but the Gun's are only 92 at the waist, and that's a bit on the smaller side.

189 Seth is, for me, easily the best choice. It is (and in my opinion has always been, even since the original pistol) the best 1-ski quiver you can buy. The only issue you might have is that it could be stiffer, but it's still waaaay beefier than, say, the JPs which are also on your list.

Ne sure you're a fan of the MSP before you buy, I have known many people who know their shit up down and sideways who can't stand the way that ski feels, and some who love it. That isn't to say it's a bad ski, it's one you either love or you don't.

Prophet 100s are also an option as are Scratch BCs. Either will serve you, so if you find a good deal, jump on it. Also, consider the Scott P4... it's a bit wider than most of your list but apparently it's incredible. For literally everything. On the other end of the spectrum, if you don't mind going a little narrower, the Karma wouldn't be a bad choice especially for the east, and it still has enough float to deal. Just some thoughts.

Nice. Thanks for all the input. I was waiting for you to reply J.D. haha. But, I never sold my Dragons! I still have them sitting in my apartment. Too much sentimental value. I can't remember how i felt about the Msp's. I know I had a lot of fun on them, but at the same time I think I know what you are saying about how they just feel a little weird. Damn. I will be looking for deals but it's still a hard choice! Thanks again.
