Replying to Lookin at New Longboards

I'm looking to get a new longboard and I have a few questions for all you guys. I've been looking at mainly loaded and landyachtz boards because i've heard great things about both of them. But with landyachtz they have so many different boards i have no idea what to get(what size, shape, etc.) As far as length goes, i've riddne little 28in boards and longer 44in + boards but nothing in between. I love how on a short board you can do little slalom turns, but i also love the big huge turns you can make on a longer board. So i'm thinking about getting one in between so i can do both. What would be a good length for this sort of board? And do any of you guys have any reccomendations for specific boards in this size range. Basically I want something that can rip it up carving down hills of various sizes. One more question, is the extra hundred dollars for a loaded board worth it?
