Thinking of getting these skis as my all-mountain/non-park ski (the skis i take care of!) however i was wondering how flared are the tails if at all.

hardly at all....it's the same ski as the salomon crossmax 10, just a different base material. Not something I can see you riding 'switch' if that's what you're asking.
