Try on a few different boots w/ a not to stiff, not to soft flex. Then go w/ whatever boot fits the best. And don't buy them to big. Have the salesperson "shell fit" you...

get the boot that fits your foot the best. If your looking for cheep check out some ski swaps and see what shops have from last year
