trals is the shit. i ace MC hardtail freeride rig, and i learned all the basics on that, but 7 inch zokes arnt the best setups! i will prolly sell it to buy something more trials oriented. but anyway, yes, seriously, trials is complicated. its all about balance. its one of the best examples of where practice is the only way. seriously just sit in your driveway, and hop around on your bike. you should be able to stand in one place just about indefinatly, and you should get comfortabe with your bike, and such. depending on the frame, keeping or levings personal prefference. if its a dedicated trials rig for you, i personally would loose it. i find i have MUCH more control, plus it saves weight. however, grind that seat tube down, or tape it over with a sock, cause you DONT wanna land on it! Mods are WAY easier to learn on, but most people will agree that stocks are the way to go. either way, its a suuuuupper fun sport, and will help you tremndosly in all other aspects of biking, and even skiing. OH yea, it builds great core muscles.
