BURTON

it's cool to wear, but it's really poorly made. i have ronin 3L pants that i wore occasionally last season... one day at squaw i wore the ronin's and i was soaked to the bone by the end of the day. the next day i wore my Helly Hansen Pangea pants, and i was dry like the sahara desert. if you're just looking for a "cool" pair of pants and jacket, get burton, but if you care about quality and staying dry, get Helly.

Burton makes awesome stuff, and it's usually alot cheaper then freeskier brands. Just wait until TS posts, he'll tell you.

haha, so true. I was reading the previous post to yours thinking "what is this guy talking about, my Burton gear owns!"

Perhaps some of Burton's gear hasn't worked so well, but I have loved mine, personally. I have found it to be high quality material with good waterproofing for the money. Unfortunately, Burton increased their prices this year, but I am still rocking a fair amount of Burton stuff.

As for whether it is okay for a freeskier: of course it is. You can wear what you want. If a skiing company produced the same stuff Burton does of course I would buy their gear, but I think Burton is a better value than companies like Orage and Oakley. This is all personal opinion of course, but I have owned pretty much every outerwear brand made in the mainstream of skiing and snowboarding. The only brand I have never worn is Volcom. No reason, just never have.

i love snowboard gear i think its steezy skiinf is getting there but burton shit is pure steez

sickk i jus bought that ronan trigger jacket.. what kinda pants u think will look the most steezee with it?

i have a few burton coats and pants....awesome stuff.  super warm and durable.

as for skiers wearing burton... wear what you want. 

The cold war ended years ago. BURTON gear is sweet. I am right now debating between the BURTON cargo pants or a pair of SPECIAL BLEND pants. If you dig it, buy it.
