Ok. So Everyone pick your favorite resort, or choose delagates from each resort constituency and post the updates for the Mountain you most frequent. Say if some person goes to Sunshine, then post Sunshines updates. If someone frequents COP then post the snowgun progress.
Of course if you always want, you can go to a website and look for youself rather than getting biased and sometimes silly opinions from Regional Forumers.
I pick to give the current 10-4 on Fernie.
Its goin' RAIN....

yeah COP has pretty intense snow. The groomers were tracking it up and breaking all the ice and stuff today. Looks like theyre starting to pile snow up for the lips to the kickers too. The pipe isnt nearly as high as its supposed to be, but with the cold weather coming it shouldnt be too long.

we have between 70-80 guns going right now, we are maxed out at what the city will allow us to blow with the water. The toilets in the 90m tower barely work, same with water fountains we are using so much pressure right now. FYI

i had a chat with Wade today, he is saying 2 weeks till the park is fully open, give or take, we will be blowing for at least the next 5 days, then the pipe will need some work and the rest of the snow pushed about into fun lumps.

Louise was really good on Saturday, It was a tad cold but not unbearatable. Best day at louise this year. The back side is filling in nicely, there still needs to be about another meter of snow or more to cover up the bigger rocks. Suppose to snow all week and warm up a bit, the makings for a good weekend.

jump measurements are only to the knoll though so add 10-15 at least to the sweet spots...decent sized tables...regular for their park imo

i hear louise's park is going to be shitty this year, because they are aiming to be more family oriented so most of the park builders quit...just a rumor dont take ti seriously unless others have heard the sme

big flat box gap on and off...battleship rail with a decent jump on..."street style" down rail
the big green barrel rail...two roller options into a 5x5' step down
couple of little tables that are pretty fun to dick around on
shits seeming to be set up a loooot better than in the past...im stoked for the rest of the park to open

it looks similar to last year, but with more rails/boxes, but it looks like there will be only 2 tables, and not 3 like last year, but i guess we will wait and see what happens

we are pretty much done blowing, its just pushing it around into fun lumps for the next few days so it shouldnt matter that its warmer

if you guys knew who some of the groomers who are working at COP are this year you would shit yourself, anyone like the old nakiska set up like 2-3 years ago, yup clays now at cop, anyone heard of superpark, yup both clay and neil are at cop, and Wade wants to make a name for himself to so he has big plans. Clay i would have to say is one of the best park builders i have ever seen, and one of the few guys i know who will hit everything he makes to make sure its perfect every time (he guinea pigged the biggest table at superpark before any pros)
