Has anyone ever heard of Matt Sterbenz

This guy was my coach and he rips like hell! He was really cool to me and we talked alot. He taught me to get into skiing because when I was at Camp of Champions I snobladed. Anyway does anybody no where his home mountain is because my family is going on a ski trip (next year) and they said I could pick the place and I really want to see him ski again. Thanks

Yeah def heard of him used to ride for fischer but now has his own company. rips hard and he is the only skier i've heard of who is sponsored by Von Zipper which makes sick goggles.

wow either your really dumb or your trying to be funny.. either way matt is a good guy and a sick skier.. he left fischer b/c they wouldn't advance the line of twins so he left them to make his own prototypes last season and they worked so he's making them for the public.if you get a chance check out matt and other non 'A' list athletes in STRIKE 3 by level 1 productions.

He is a really great guy. I got a chance to do some riding with him at camp too.
He has a pretty good segment in subject 2 change.
You can catch him at squaw usually.

Its actually easier to skiboard. Trust me, it looks hard but its really easy. I switched becasue there are so many great athletes to look up to.

You kids are dumb. Everyone knows all eh? Matt is from Wisconsin. Grew up skiing Wilmont and Geneva and ripping around with Kyle Needham and Tom Cooley, if you don't know them, don't ask. Attended school at Minnesota, graduated and moved to Squaw. Worked his ass off to be good and it shows. Quit Fischer over their reluctance to continue making good skis, and started 4FRNT. Another name to add to the list of Wisconsin/midwest kids making it happen.

Whatever it doesn't matter where he is from, if you probably wont see him if you go to his home mountain. Especially if he's from the midwest (he'd wanna head to the coast)... forget meeting Sterbenz and go to a good mountain.

Ok, i just want to say even though Grand Geneva is the suckiest hill ever, the BEST rippers have come out of there. I rode there with Sterbenz. The Midwest puts out sick skiers. For all you people out west, imagine if we had your hills, you would be over.

Mike Nick was telling some of us at CoC this sumer a story about Sterbenz. Summer 2001, they had a line of tables set out. Sterbenz had the builders make the lip on one of the jumps really big one night. Then the next day he got a shit load of speed and then he launched off of that table and landed on the landing of the next jump in the line. Mike said that it was the sickest things that he had ever seen!!!
