I just saw More from absinthe films. Unbelievable riding, good cinematography. pretty lousy soundtrack that was all over the place; alot of shitty indy garbage rock, some ODB, Muse, and other shit. All in all, I like the vibe in future proof better; I'm being over critical, yes, but it shits on any ski movie that has ever been made, or that will be made within the next 3 years. The addition of Marc Fwank was awesome, and Chris Coulter can have my babies if he wants. I would let marc fwank, but who wants a baby that is a 1/4 mexican? Not me.

Thats a very big claim "shits on any ski movie ever made." yes ski movies are very single minded and they follow a track that no one seems to try to step out of, but thats just such negative thinking. I dont think snowboarding and skiing are in some movie race to see whose better. We need to move away from the money shot mentality, we need to move away from ski pornography basically. I think that ski movies need to try to capture more of the people that we look up too and not just their abilities on the hill.

More people need to watch snowboard movies as well.
Then ski movies can get better.

my claim is accurate. if my thinking is negative, then fuck the world. its 'positive' thinking like yours and contentment with the shitty matchstick productions norm that makes skiing snowboarding's bitch year after year. watch the movie, then find me a ski movie with riding nearly at this level.

I agree with you 100%... Snowboard flicks are so much more enjoyable to watch.
What annoys me is when somebody tries to make a movie that jumps out of the typicall ski movie structure, and then everybody hates on it. It's like, do you want it or don't you?

I'm stoked to check more out. absinthe are making the best snowboard movies. And Nicolas Mueller is my favourite rider. He does such sick tricks on natural features in alaska.
But don't always compare ski and snowboard movies. they're just different and I enjoy watching them both. this year so many good ski movies are coming out! you have no reason to complain!

"more" is hands down the best movie i've ever seen. there were very few things i'd change about it. seriously, the level of riding was just absurd...mind-blowing movie. everyone needs to see it.

just re-watched the teaser. Wow. The most mind blowing stuff was the cable cam/follow cam/aerial shots that they got in the trees, i dont really know how they did that. looks epic. i want to see it.

i actually just finished watching early this morning. it was basically like watching a bunch of pollards and peps for an entire movie killin it in the backcountry. skiing wont be a that level for at least 4 more seasons if not more. it was alot like teddy bear crisis just elavated in quality

This was the only movie I bought this year, and it was a damn good investment. Unlike all the ski movies, it never got repetitive--not even a little bit. The editing was kind of incoherent, but it was hands down the sickest gnar shredding I've ever seen. So much mind-blowing shit ahhhhhhhhhHH

Shut your ignorant ass up.
SKi movies are dope, regardless of how similar they can be. They have some dope soundtracks. I like snowboard movies more, but that's because I snowboard. I've skiied like, twice in my life, and I enjoy skiing and it's subculture. Why else am I here? Im gonna try skiing this year, again

I don't know how many times I have to keep reminding you darn kids that the "cold war" has been over for years... it's okay for boarders and skiers to get along now days.
If you want to see sweet board films, watch Absinthe films - they are awsome. Pop is still one of my favorites. Nocolas muller is so fun to watch. I haven't had a chance to catch More yet; but, I am excited.
