we are building skis this season. its not rediculously difficult, nor complex. but if you dont have a very solid understanding of the dynamics of skiing, youll find yourself lost and confused. by that, i mean you have to understand not only how the shape of the board effects the riding characteristics, but also how the materials used will alter preformance. if you dont have any new ideas to try out or anything, i would suggest against it. but if you have an idea that you think is a good one, go for it. we are doing this because ive been designing a new core lamination process that should dramatically reduce swing wieght, and add to the tunibility of the cores flex properties.
