im 6'5 220lbs i ride 177 and have been for 6 years im buying the new karmas and im wondering if i should go for the 185 or stay with 177 i feel very comfortable with 177 but i ride 1999 salomon 1080s and im not used to wider waist and side walls what do you guys think?
I'm 6-1 195 and I'm probably going to get a pair of Karmas. I would almost definitely get the 185's. What type of skiing to do you? If you do a lot of park, you probably want a bigger landing platform.
Would you mind elaborating a bit on your experience skiing switch with the Karmas? Also, how do they pop off jumps and how are they on landings? I've heard a lot of people say they are a great all-mountain park ski, with details about how well they carve, ski bumps and trees, but no details on the park side of things.
I'm 6' and 160 lbs and found the Karmas to be not quite enough ski for my style. So if you're torn between a 177 and a 185 there should be no question that the 185 is for you.
they are not the best park skis as far as pop since they are pretty stiff, they dont like the slow jibbing into boxes and rails not that it cant be done but it takes some getting used to. as far as jumps and pipe go they're great.
