External lens?

I am just wondering what are the things called that are almost like external lens for your camera where they are just like a small extension you plug into your camera and can film with them instead of using the actual camera. like for follow shoots and stuff, because i cant find them any where online. and mys buds on the box just says hands free external lens, but no luck online.

I know that Samsung X camera had one. Handheld lens, maybe? I just know that the X Camera sucks. That's more of a helmet-cam type thing, though. Most follow cams are done with a normal cam.

yea thanks man i know most are but these are ideal for follow cams because they are almost weighless. anyone?
