169 or 179 telemark ski

So heres my delima im going to buy a pair of k2 piste pipe tele skis but i dont know which length to get i usually ride a 174. but as i live in the midwest, im not sure if the 179 will be too long of a ski for our short runs. but then if i get the 169, im afraid that it will be too short for when i get out west in the pow. any suggestions.

i would have 2 say 179 b/c ur use to 174 and 169 will feel real short

sorry i forgot to mention i got a pair of 165 slalom skis, but im seriously leaning to the 179. but a teleski does ride completly differnt than normal skis.
