is it just me or do oregon people care more about style than anyone else, im not saying people from other places dont have style, but in all these videos on this site i see kids doing sick tricks and shit, but with hideous style, specially big poles, wtf is with the fucking big poles haha. but siriusly, oregonians seem to care more about style than most other people. just look at our pros/ams, eric pollard, sammy carlson, collin wright, mark devorak (sorry if i spelled it wrong but im complimenting u) and many more. so what do u think???

Skiing at Mt. hood you realize its all about Style. sure tehre are a few skiers up there who dont, but everyone i ski with is always thinking about what they can do to make there skiing look good.

we are steezy because we ski in ridiculous amounts of wet snow from november to june. And because i live there, and because mt bachelor is really flat, and because oregon has loggers and hippies in one state, in sort of harmoney.

i think style is def. strong in the PNW (oregon, wash) and it transfers over to tahoe and mammy. i don't know, there's less hype or something, more peace of movement. style is key, don't ever forget.

It's not that us oregonads care so much about style it's just part of who we are. Layed back, mellow and we don't care about who's the doppest we just want to progress ours and everyone elses steeze. And doesn't it feel so much better to be styly with whatever your doing?

i know pep is from oregon, and he def has sick style. and seth. but someone mention tommy, hes from cali but still has sick styule, and tim is from alaska, but also has very good style. im not saying oregon is the only stylie place, but people here care more about it than most. and ps. colby is sick but sammy is all around better. and i agree with john, a cork 7 or a sw cork 7 is a sick way to show style and id say sammy wins there.

ok, dood, give up, zeros are cool and every thing, but not nearly as tech and hard to make steezy as variations on 7s. colby had a sick 0 in shanghia six and he can forshure throw some gnarly grabs but im talking about all around style here, this is not a forum on who can do a swell zero. but colby does beat sammy at zeros, now leave it alone, oregon style is the best.
