Volkl Karma's in Bumps

Ok,
So I've pretty much decided I'm going to get Volkl Karmas..haven't decide on the year model..I like that they made the 06-07's a bit softer for park, but the 05-06 IMO are the best looking skis ever made.

My last concern is bumps. I ski Killington, VT a lot and so I do a lot of bumps and tight trees. I'm 6-1 200. Does anybody have anything to say about skiing the 185's in bumps? I'm sure they are good in pow bumps, but what about more packed ones? I'm not that concerned, but I'd like to know what to expect.

As long as your not comp/ on them you should be good, They will be sick for pow bumps and late spring superstar/ OL slush trenches.

Im 5'11" - 155lbs and the karmas have never treated me wrong the last two years in bumps anywhere, and I ski mostly at the loaf

i just got the 06-07 karmas literally an hour ago, i got em 161 and i cant wait to ski on em

^^If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? I'm also not sure what to do for bindings. I'd get Looks but I can't find any din 14 look bindings. I might go with the Salomon S914 which have been great for me.

^ they are expensive..i am looking at getting them and cheepest is around 650.00 plus tax CDN....

Thanks, I don't mind paying a lot for good skis. I just don't like paying more than everyone else

to be honset i thought the 05-06 models where the uglyest ones they have made so far and i talked too a guy today who said they were good for everything including bumps

Really? I think they are the best looking ski ever, that's pretty funny. It's a good thing we all have different tastes. But I'm glad to hear they work well in the bumps. I actually think the new ones are pretty ugly. But, they are starting to grow on me.

i had the 06s and they were fine in bumps but i am not a good bump skier though. i had the 177 and im 6'1 160 and im not sure if i should get the 185s this year.
