NEED info on 06/07 Scratches FS WRS - Please HELP!

I just received a good deal for a brand new pair of Rossi Scratch FS WRS for $379 (incl. tax and converted to US$) here in Europe.
I want to know how the Scratches compare to my current 04/05 PE's which I find great for all-mountain but a tad stiff, heavy and pretty dead for park and totally useless in easy powder.
So I want a poppier, lighter ski that can also handle all-mountain and some easy pow. (I have last years' SV's for bigger powder days)
I'm also not so sure about the length. I'm 5'10, 175 lbs.
I know that in 99.9% cases I would go for 181cm, but I find my PEs a bit long for learning spins and jumps, since I started park skiing last year. Plus the 174 seem too short?!
How do Rossi length's compare to K2 lengths? I know that all K2's measure exactly as stated (measured tip-to-tip)
I would greatly appreciate any input from you guys...and sorry for the length of the text.

i believe k2 does the running length of the ski or something like that, which basically means that 174 k2 ski is more like 175-176ish but rossi is more actually 174. somebody correct me if i'm wrong on that. as far as a 174 or 181, you could handle either fine, maybe the 181 cause of your weight but if you want something that'd be quicker overall, go for the 174, if not modern mount the 181's and you'll be good to go

my scratchs killed it every on the mountain and they shredding utah pow so i think they would be good for you go with the 181 or whatever the longest length is though and mount em where you like em not where they suggest

Thanks for the input, guys! I think I'll get them in 181 and mount them modern.
Is the modern mounting line on the rossis like a center mount, cause I had my PEs center mounted at +7.5 and obviously I liked them for park, but also for all-mountain.

No, not at all, the modern line is 7 cm back from true center.

So if I wanted them mounted like I have my PEs now (which are at +7.5), I'd have to gor for a +7 from the modern line?

K2: 7.5+ = core center
12+ = true center
Rosi: Modern = recommended mounting point for freestyle
7+ from modern = true center.
so im not quite sure where you should mount them to make them similar to your pe's. maybe 3 cm in front of the modern line or something.

Are you sure? I've always heard that it is -7. But if thats true, he should probably mount them at the modern line
All times are Eastern (-5)
