'In event news, Powder and AXIS magazines have partnered with Timberline Ski Area for SUPERPARK 5, skiing's biggest pipe, big air, and jib photo and film shoot, running May 18-25, 2003. This year's event is limited to an exclusive list of top athletes'

No SuperPark for Mammoth this year.. :(

I heard that Mammoth was getting tired of all of the hassle of putting something like that on. Its just a year of new places. A new place for Parkasaurses and a new place for Superpark.

Breckenridge is hosting snowboarders superpark this weekend, im sorta bummed that I cant go see it. Anyway it should be fucking crazy, I think parks from around the country come to breck and each get to form their own hit. Last year (whistler I think) had a sweet jump over 2 cats, otherwise there were some massive friggin jumps.

On a sidenote, a basin got at least knee deep if not waist deep snow over the past two days, and being april, it should go off.
