maybe smith owns Von Zipper but im still really angry that VZ just came out with a goggle called the Feenom and it looks just like he "phenom" by smith. which is a very sick goggle by the way. any one know if VZ is a bitch, mooch company or if smith owns VZ?
easy man. What if Smith released the Phenom at the 2006 SIA trade show? They did. I could only hope that VZ would change their name, seems like plenty of time to do so. I don't really care. But they should. Either way I wish both companies luck.

Yea, but what I am saying is that VZ was probably at teh SIA too... therefore both companies probably knew what was going on, and both companies decided it didn't matter.
Also what I am argueing is that how do we know wether SMith made the Phenom first or VZ made the Feenom first?
jea, i saw this in a transworld about a month ago, 2 pages before a smith ad for the phenom! i dont really know, id like to know if smith or VZ is aware.
ya, fuck von zipper, they're biting steez! here's my theory: someone designed a phenom goggle, and both companies bought the design, but von zipper spelled it like tards. they're stupid for even releasing a similar goggle! makes them look mucho lame-o. Smith for life baby
Just because Burton owns VZ does not mean that Burton does everything for them. It usually just means the a differnt person finances and owns the company but is run by the original employees as a subsidary company under Burton.
But yeah, I actually like the VZ colorways and design a little better.
