Find like a ski swap, and find something the right size that is a twin tip, get them for super cheap and shred them for a season. Then when you are somewhat concious of what you like and need go find something uber nice. Thats my thoughts. Like look in the equipment section here.

yeah, well its for my friend, i was just wondering if anyone knew any other places besides like ebay and getboards, and what do u mean by ski swap? if u mean trading in skis, my friend doesnt have any to trade in

no ski swaps are local things where everyone sells their own gear, most places have them in the fall
