El Nino Returns - warm/dry winter

According to NOAA, the Pacific Northwest is in for a warm/dry winter.

Not good news.

For you uninformed peeps: NOAA = National Oceanic & Atmosphereic Administration. They know a little about the weather.

oh yeah, and after this summer... (despite today) if we had a dry winter wed be in for one big fucking draught... cause... it hasnt rained since june pretty much.

yea but do you remember february when almost all the mountains had to close?? the snow was super skimpy. those last 2 months didnt make up shit. there was fun in that season (and those months) but it was SHIT

Yeah its really hard to say anything yet, although the NOAA is usually a lot more reliable than farmer's almanac.

actually i heard that the farmer's almanac (which is right more often than the weathermen) said that it's supposed to be a colder and wetter year than normal around these parts (vancouver-whistler-baker-etc)
