Replying to Pivot bindings - Do i really need them?

Hey guys.. I've posted this on one or two other forums, just hoping for a good response here.

anyway, I've just purchased some K2 PEs, and now i'm on the hunt for some bindings.


Basically I was just going to go with the shops reccomendations, untill a friend who's a pretty compitent and long term skiier said to buy pivot's.

They are farking expensive though, - and I know i know, don't skimp on bindings.

so some help would be great ( please )

ps. I'm 5'7, 140lbs,20years, so i've stopped growing, ski mainly all mountain/going to japan so there will be lots of powder involved. Small amounts of park skiing. ( maybe 10% if that )
