What do you thinks is the sickest jacket for this season
^doubt it. Its worth it though. Such high quality, sooo many features, and its super limited. You won't find it at every shop.. In fact Jibij is the only place I've seen that even has it.
The sickest jacket for 06/07 is definetily the volcom hands camo straight jacket... Burton makes a nice line, but some of the features and pocket designs on this year's jackets make them very strange looking, so stick to the ronin trigger or 3L jacket (devil's rope print) if you want burton.
has everyone on here turned into a 13 year old park rat? I think most the stuff is hideous, and it is all like 5 or 10K. No one has posted high end stuff. I think the Orage Cook puffy is outragous, the Burton AK 3L insulated jacket is unreal as well.
Someone earlier said "Aeryx, how can you beat it?" Just about every jacket on the market beats it. Get a highlighter.
Sorry man but I got a reason my mom is going to the US and I need a new jacket and where I live we have almost no board shops (only with like commerical burton stuff) so I need some help.
AMEN!! I won't buy anything less than 10k, and I'd prefer something around 20k, no way in hell I'd ever buy Siver stuff, it's fuckin' ridicious how non-functional it is.
you missed the point there slice. The thread is about the sickest jacket. How can the sickest jacket possibly be outerwear that doesn't have a good waterproofing rating? SICKEST means the best. 10K sure as heck isn't the best. Don't be silly and put "just don't be a pussy" it makes you sound like an ignorant yet arrogant 14 year old without self-confidence :)
Here's the thing. I just searched for both of the jackets you mentioned, and I would take either of them over anything posted. I go for quality and functionability(?) above style, but these two jackets have both.
I think the reason why people (including me) were posting things that might not be that great quality or w/e, is because not eveyone is exposed to numerous brands. I don't know what you do that allows you to have sooooo much info about everything, but a lot of kids might not have ski shops near them or something, so their only available resource is this site. When they see what the pros or other kids are wearing, they just like that because they don't know what else is out there.
As for me, I wish I could get high quality equipment and apparel, but I'm stuck with paying no more than like $50 for some unknown Columbia jacket with like 3,500 waterproofing at Sports Authority beacuse it's the closest store that has ski equipment. I don't know if this is true for other kids, but I know that's why I may be equipmentally ignorant.
yeah u are right! I'd like if ppl would post more info on jackets and experience. It doesnt only have to look good but it also has to be good waterproof and comfortable and use efficient.
I gotta say I saw a Sean White sig jacket at first stop last weekend. It was all white and BOMB looking. And burton didn't plaster the shit out of it with their logos.
