You should only drop out of school when you have a good opportunity in front of you that outweighs the benefit of a good education. Gates had his new computer business, and he accurately accessed the value of his choice between pursuing his business and staying in school. It would be foolish to quit school only to hope that a golden opportunity will just walk up to you. Quit only if you have an opportunity that you believe will untimely be more fruitful than a good education.
