Replying to A moment of silence for...

Those who have lost their lives and liberties because of September eleventh. While it is important to remember  the losses of five years ago today, let us not forget that the greatest harm caused by september eleventh came in the months and years afterwards, when we allowed our freedoms to be stripped from us, and allowed our own government to rule through fear and propaganda, rather than rational thought and democracy. The lives that we lost on September eleventh will be lost in vain if we fail to learn from such tragic events. If we continue down this path, towards  a media controlled distopia of misinformation and paranoia, then the perpetrators of September eleventh will have destroyed far more than buildings and lives, they will have destroyed America.
