yeah i really wanted roddick to win. ever since a press conference about a year or two ago when a reporter asked him if he was disappointed at being number 2 in the world, to which he replied "no im not disappointed at all i mean would you be disappointed if you were the second best reporter in the world?" anyways, i thought that was really funny and refreshing to hear a celeb talk like that when hes being pestered by heartless papparazzi, and ive really liked the guy ever since and i never watch tennis unless hes playing pretty much, so i was really disappointed to see him lose. he did put up a hell of a fight though. starting at the end of the first set, he got pissed off and channeled all his energy into hitting a 142 mph serve. anyways, classy guy and its a shame he lost it, but federer is just unbelievable. respect to them both.
im angry that roddick lost; if he had won the third set he would have had so much momentum and i think he would have won the match. I do like federer, but i would rather have had roddick win because that would confirm that he has come out of his slump; i guess even getting to the final pretty much got him out of it-not to mention winning at cincinnati
yeah wtf was that when federer broke roddick's serve the last game of the third set? that was the first broken serve roddick gave up since the first set. roddick was definately tiring. i think he got a little worn out after that last game he served when there were like 8 dueces or something. helluva fight he put up
