Replying to My Itunes is Being Stupid

Ok, so all my downloaded music goes to My Music. Its not in any folder within that, just loose in there. Usually it adds fine. Today I went to add the folder again and get all the music I recently downloaded. I click My Music, hit add, and nothing happens. I highlight My Music and it displays all the folders with in, but I just click add with the folder highlighted and it normally works, all the folders inside it are empty, just auto ones or something idk how they got there. I checked the folder and the music is all there, so whats going on?
