PVC....or ABS?

Sorry for another pvc thread, but i need to know if abs pipe would work as a rail, instead of pvc...can anyone help? btw, abs is the black pipe

umm abs is what is used in skis for side wall material.....whihc form my experiances seems to peel and split a lot more when in contact with other edges, so i would use pvc pipe.

from what ive heard when it comes down to ABS or PVC, PVC is the way to go. but steel is always best overall
