Replying to What kind of twin for Ontario/Quebec Skiing?
I have skied on Salomon Verse 500s, 170 long, for 2 years. I love them, they turn really nicely. The only thing they lack is speed (my mom's 160 or 150 Volkls go faster when going straight downhill). I now want some twin tips as I want to increase my park skiing. I can do 180s and boxes but I would consider myself an excellent skier everywhere else. I am going to keep the salomons for all mountain except BC/glades (they don't turn as fast in powder) and use the twins for mainly park and BC/glades and the occasional mountain run when I'm too lazy to switch skis.
I ski mostly Ontario and Quebec though I will do a trip to the states once a year.
I weigh 155 and am 6'1". I am going to pick up some of last year's models at the local ski "swap" in november. I am considering Scratch BCs, Karmas, and PEs, but I'm still open to other suggestions as well as where to mount (if not already mounted) and length.
Thanks
