Reality market, stock market game

hey guys my brother just made up a stock market website but with things that are going on in the world. starting next month there will be a contest on who can make the most in "x" amount of days ( around 2 months i think as of now and everyone will start back at "0") anyways whoever wins will get a Nano, or something even bigger depending on how many people sign up. check it out its pretty sweet and you start off with $2,000,000 to invest wont hurt just to check it out.

Jeter Justin Morneau and ryan howard are my biggest gainers. its all good

we should have cycles or something. like a competition that lasts for 30 days and then the winner at the end gets a prize. I know that its a small time thing but the prize could just be stickers or something like that. something skimonkey can get from free from the ski companys or any other promotional product that deosn't cost him anything to get. LOL

dude thats the point of all this. bascily were all testing this right now to make it perfect then once he thinks its good enough to start a game hes going to. and hes thinkin to make it last like 3 months and whoever wins will get a nano.

so it turns out microsoft set a realse date for Vista in feburary. Better by the stcoks now while there at 12 dollars

Did you enter a bunch of orders and then look at your cash balance? Orders aren't executed immediately all the time and your open orders likely executed after you looked at your balance. I've looked at your account and it looks fine from what I'm seeing.

I think I have a handle on the negative balance bug as well.

What's going to happen is that when a stock happens, it will be cashed out at no fee. I say no fee, because shortly there will be a brokerage fee added to all transactions. That way it's in your best interest to stay in a stock that will payout, or that you think will payout.

Sorry for all the posts, forgot about what happens if the stock doesn't occur. The stock will continue to trade, but presumably the price will drop and keep dropping as anyone that is holding shares will want to sell. At that point I can only imagine the stock being traded between daytraders hoping someone else is trying to squeeze a few percentage points off it.

man, rough day for the markets. Almost every baseball team is now worthless excpet for the yankees and the prices for the AL mvp have gone down alot.
