ARW's for my GF??

I was thinking of picking up a pair of park/pipe skis that would still be good all mountain. The ARW is what I was thinking of. I've read it's the best all around woman's ski this year. Any good places to get a hold of a pair? TIA

ya there wayyyyyy sick, but first is she a park skier? or if shes not does she ski hard? second sicne girls like looks you might wanna talk to her about how she likes the graphics cause she might get them and be like "omg soooo ugly" in her mind

i LOVE my arws. definitley a great choice.

but yah be careful on the graphics with this years model.. haha

You think graphics would matter that much to her if she's a hard core skier? She skis 50/50 park/mountain...

I have skied the ARW. I think it rocks. It is definitely a good choice for someone who likes to do it all. This years is much improved over last. If she's a decent skier she shouldn't be worried about the graphics. Besides they sure are a great conversation piece. If she's only gonna have the one ski I much prefer it to the Mynx.

the arws were nice when i skied them in january. a little soft for my taste. i'm going with the nancy's this year. a bit fatter (pretty much identical to the old seths), i don't ski much park anymore anyway.

speaking of armada, anyone know how the ar6 is for girls? I want a lighter ski so I was thinking about the arw, but I just looove ar6 graphics. (and no, I don't buy skis from graphics over skiability)

the female foil has almost the exact same construction as the male foil, except some more female friendly cuts. so for the lighter girls (110-125), the might want to look at the salamon female thruster or the arw.

The AR6 is a killer ski & I admit it looks cool but I thought the AR6 was a bit too heavy & stiff for me. I think it all depends on your size as well as aggressiveness. I am pretty aggressive, but only weigh 125. I rock the ARW for all-mountain & park. ( the cosmetics are awesome) In tight spots etc I thought the AR6 was too much work for me.

thats an expensive gift. there is a girl at my local hill that we ski with, and she loves hers. so.. maybe they are as good as people say. i still dont like the chippability of armadas topsheets.
