I was wondering what you guys thought about the spks the skis not the boot, if anyone has ever tried them post your comments and all other stuff you think is good or bad thanks
are you on crack he didnt ask if they would be good for him he asked if other people that have ridden them liked them and if they thought they were good
this is dumb. the SPK is exactly the same ski as the candide/CR. therefore, its got a real fast base, its moderately stiff, and skis very well. however, the subtracked width makes it a lil less stable, and faster edge to edge.
pretty sure they're not the exact same ski as the candide/cr lab ski was, since those were a 79 waist, and the spk is 77, correct? also, people need to stop believing every god damned word in the freeskier gear guide as if its skiing's bible. i swear they didnt even ski half those skis, because everyone i've talked to who has skied the stuff thought entirely differently than freeskier. on the east coast the spk would make a killer all mountain/pipe ski. i'd try to avoid rails with it, since they use a thinner edge on that ski than the regular thrusters, foils, etc and salomons edges are thin to begin with.
