I've been looking at some ski camps for next summer and given how expensive they are you know plane tickets and whatnot are they really worth the money and if they are which is gonna give the most bang for my buck
i ve bin to momentum for 2 years and its sick. but high north and coc have better terrain. with coc thow theres a huge line up for the tbar. momentum has sick coaches and it surrounds the tbar so you can get off where ever you want and like its right there when you get to the top.
i was at coc this summer session e.....most amazing week of my life....honestly i dreamed of it and still do....the terrain is better than my regular park at home, the coaches are so chill, and the village is amazing, as for above...the tbar does get a lil long but if you know how to time your day its not a problem, it only gets busy in the afternoon when the public gets up there and then you just hike the pipe or some rails and only occasionaly ride a lap....i would deff. recomend going to coc
ya we both went up to the same sesh at momenum, it was real fun and u meet a bunch of new people and say u are ever at there hill u could call them up and let them know and ski with them again, so it is pretty cool so u meet friends, great terrain cool coaches, and it is the summer of course it is worth the money
i went to high north this summer and it was fucking sick, it seems like the best camp in whistler to go to, coc has a good park and a bigger lane, but like someone mentioned, the line for the t bar is a lot longer than the one that momentum and high north use
I was at HN this year and its soo much better than COC and momentum. COC has a bigger lane and a little better park, but theres soo many people and you dont get coached as much as HN. and HN has an atmosphere like you're just kind of chillin' with a bunch of pros, and since theres no snowboarders and a limited amount of campers, you get soo much more attention from coaches and pros on the hill
I have a good time at windells, if you are in an early sesh you can make long laps if there is enough snow. I like all of the coaches and the hiking you will have to do isn't bad, dont be a pussy. And off mountian is pretty damn fun as well, it is pretty hard to describe but if you skate your head will fall off when you see what they have for you there.
