uh huh. well, i hit some kind of wron button there, allow me to continue. he is dressed exactly like one of the clowns from the band 'simple plan' when i say exactly, that is what i mean. down to the wrist bands and the 'role model' t-shirt. it is somewhat sad that i can even recognize this fact, as it means that i watch enough mtv to be able to tell... but this is out of control. mtv has dictated this young mans entire wardrobe. no doubt there are countless offenders, but this one takes the cake in my book.

Yea there are some kids in my school like that, except not towards simple plan, more towards rap. They all wear Tims and listen to rap really loud on cd players, have 'Bling' and dress like rappers. The funny thing is my school is almost all white.

The Media influences all of us some more (in cases a lot more) than others. For those of high school ae and younger MTV is the main television show that is watched, and the imitation is many times a show of low self esteem or a want to fit in.

Lol yea that's kinda funny, unfortunately (well I still like the clothing) I had role model clothing before simple plan was on video or whatever. So now I wear it and I feel like people think I might be some kind mtv clown. Oh well.

i am sick and tired of everyones bullshit. seriously - so now it's wrong to have an image and like something?

think of it this way - 90% of the people on this website are just as bad as you think people who dress up like 'simple plan' (or any other pop punk band, or dress up like a hip-hop artist). do you not wear a ton of ski shit because you think that skiing is dope so you represent? what the hell makes you dressing in ski gear from head to toe better than someone who represents what they think is dope shit?

everyone here keeps saying that they don't care about what people do, but you are constantly contradicting yourself by either saying that simon dumont is gay, all white people who wear baggy clothing or 'bling' it up are posers, and that anyone who likes pop music sucks ass...
(and on the pop topic - ever wonder why MTV plays pop music pretty much all day every day - it's because it is what it is - pop, pop culture, it's what the fucking mass's like - it wouldn't be logical for them to play underground music all the time because the majority of their audiance doesn't like it - the would doesn't revolve around you)

so just stop your bitching about other peoples lives and start worrying about shit that matters.
