Just wondering what they are like, i am planning on getting them and wanted to know how they ride. Oh ya, since line got bought out by K2, are there bulletproof topsheets on the anthems. Skis look sick, can't wait to get'em
so just just because they're wider, means they are stiffer?.....NO!
wideness will effect the float ability in pow and stiffness will determine how well it butters or how well it rides in bumps/steeps/etc
actually bub, your wrong. assuming the cores are made from the same wood, and are milled the same thickness, adding width would make the ski stiffer, because there is overall more material resisting being bent. and the anthems are just that. a wider invader. so yes, they are stiffer, by a small amount.
not replacing, just accompanying. and the fatness would also affect the buttering too becuase it makes them more stable and when you have all your weight on a tiny portion of the ski stability is pretty money.
