it will only help if you are running 2 PRO plications at the exact same time, not worth it

yeah, basically it just makes it so you can run a ton of things at once, like web design, photoshop and vid edit all at the same time. or w;/e you want to do, play 2 games or sumthinbg whack like that

well I have a Powermac G5 dual core and its reeaaaaly fast for video. You should definately get dual core along with like 4 gigs of RAM.

Got a a pentium duel processer. It's gee. Everybody's doing it.
And duel processers can split up on set of information into 2 and do both halfs at the same time. So it can do things twice as fast.

all of u got it all wrong. core 2 duo is different from core duo and dual core. core 2 duo just came out for intel desktops this year from what ive heard
