never bring the sugarbush tall shot gun to any non winter rail jam again. use one of the shorter flat bars, less people will die and it will be easier set up/more fun to do stuff on

^ word up will, most of us haven't hit a rail in months and during this fall parking lot jam season it makes more sense to have more smaller features that massive rails that 1 in 10 people don't kill themselves trying

Thanks for the feedback. We are meeting with Sugarbush this week to discuss what to build for the next event.
We are planning another rail jam for the TGR premiere on October 14th (Volkl will be sponsoring it, as will Scott USA), and want to make it bigger, better and more accessible. Multiple features is an obvious given, with several drop-ins to improve flow. What kinds of features do you all want? We have limited time here, so easier ones to build are more realistic...

i was at sept. 9 event and it blew dude. get rails that people aren't going to die on. the day after that jam we went to the ice rink and did just a flat rail and it was soooo much better. better tricks were thrown and more fun was head. more rails..more drop ins..yeah thats about it.

decent sized crail would be cool, along with a smaller flat rail

How important is the competition aspect? Would it be better to have a full-on, formal comp with different classes, rules, etc., or would you all prefer to just have an open format where there is no comp, but we give stuff to people when they throw a really good move or crash in a particularly nasty way?

It was a rail jam which equals jam format which is overall impression, to make it legit there could have been a prize for the overall best female as well as the overall best male.
