How do these stack up? Specifically the 175/171 sizes. Versatile enough to use every day, including east coast? Soft enough to be fun, but stiff enough to not be noodley?
The VCT really excels at BC jumping. The P4 is great at that, and I felt it was better for all mountain riding too. It's really stiff from the waist to the tip, but really soft from waist to tail.
i found the vct to be damp, and planky (2x4 like) it skis well on the whole mountain, but not that lively in the park (im 5'10" 175lbs). but that's my opinion, and it may be better if you are a bigger guy.
