yea I'm guessing that's what he means cuz that would be good I'm guessing you dont need them for much pow? If you want them to float a lil more for the occaisional dump or a trip out west or somethin (if you dont already live there) 4 back might be in order. But yea back from TRUE center, dead center of the ski, or of the skis contact surface if you are really fancy.

dude i have some scratches and the modern mounting point is like -4...idk but for me thats too far back so im gonna remount them but i skied tons of pow on em last year at the mounting and they did fine so -4 would be aight for pow but if i were you i wouldn't go with the line on the ski...id find true center and then prolly go -2 hope this helps

You can still remount...rule of thumb is dont remount more than 3 times, or else you will comprimise the structural integrity of the ski.

go back to the shop you had them mounted at and have them mount up a new pair for you. you shouldnt have to have another set of holes drilled in your skis because the shop messed up.
