so im finally down to these three skis. IM 6'3 180lbs. i ski 50% park 50% all mountain. im a adcanced carver and i can do 180s, 3s, and i hit rails not as much as airs though. so im looking to you nsers to help me decide whihc ski would be best for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If money isn't a problem ar6 I was just checkin 'em out at my shop and they're sick, an ar5 with a makeover, a little fatter and lighter. If you dont wanna spend though dough then PEs. apparantly freeskier's review said that the silencer didn't perform out of the park as well as an "all mountain" ski should so from what you said you do I wouldn't get that.
if you are just trying to do like 3's and 1's and rails and stuff, find a stiffer older ski, i recommend chronics and ar5's from the past few years. if you can find the 04/05 chrons, get them because they are a great ski for what you want to do in and out of the park.
i say a stiffer ski because they are(i think, some people disagree) more forgiving on landings, because you don't have to land right on your feet, you have some leeway(sp?). I say an older ski because you can get them cheaper, and you probably won't notice the minute technological advancements of last year to this year, or the year before even, if you are just getting into park.
yea get the armada's cuz the pe i didnt like it had a lot of weight but you 180 so im sure you wouldnt think so but the silencers i heard werent very good so def get new ar6's
